Nature
When I was in the beach
I saw the sun was setting down
And heard the whooshing sound of waves
And screeching sounds of birds
How sad it was
Once I was in the garden
I heard the buzzing sound of bees
And cackling sounds of hens
I touched the soft petals
And smelled the flowers
How wonderful it was
When I was schooling
I saw a cow was feeding
And cuddling her baby
And I remembered the way
My mother cuddled me
How soft it was
Once my granny was baking cookies
My mouth was watering
And I was eager to taste a bite
But I couldn’t wait till it baked
How impatient I was
When I was in the beach
I saw the sun was setting down
And heard the whooshing sound of waves
And screeching sounds of birds
How sad it was
Once I was in the garden
I heard the buzzing sound of bees
And cackling sounds of hens
I touched the soft petals
And smelled the flowers

My dog
My dog is spotted and frisky
Fur looks brown and white
Ears look folded pages
Wags his tail all the time
Greets with guests
With the welcome bark
Chases cats and mice
All these make me fun
What a good dog I have
Fur looks brown and white
Ears look folded pages
Wags his tail all the time
Greets with guests
With the welcome bark
Chases cats and mice
All these make me fun
What a good dog I have
Farewell mum
Farewell mum I am going to school today
She feels sad to see me going away
Don’t cry mum I’ll do well today
And to hope to see you soon today
I feel sad to leave my toys today
Good bye toys I’ll be back today
Bye bye sister I’ll be back today
I feel sad to leave you all today
Though you feel sad about me leaving today
One day you'll be happy to see me as a scientist!
What I can Do
I am Happy when I get Ice-Cream
So I can eat till my tummy gets full
I am sad when my mother scolds me
So I can run away till I get tired
I am happy when my favorite cartoon is going on tv
So I can watch till I get dizzy
I am sad when my father scolds me
So I can plug my ears till he finishes
I asked
I asked the moon why It was yellow
And it smiled and sprinkled dark light across the sky
I asked the rainbow why it was colorful
And it soon appeared with 7 colors
I asked the star why it twinkled
It gave a proud look and twinkled more than ever
I asked the sea why it was rough
And it sent a big wave that gave me a bath
Chocalate box from my teacher Philo
I work very hard in the school
So my teacher loves me so much
For my studies
She sent me a box of chocolates
I was very happy
And shared it with my friends
At first I was happy and surprised
After I was not surprised
But thankful and happy.
( This was written for my teacher Philo ,who sent me a box of chocolates from the Indian Public School in Kuwait)
My trousers
Where are my trousers?
I checked in the cupboard
Oh, they must be somewhere else
I checked in the loo
And in my drawers too
I smashed clothes everywhere
But they're not anywhere
I looked behind the blind
And under the chairs too
But they're not there
Maybe I can find them somehow
Boo,hoo,hoo,boo hoo,hoo
I began to cry
When I stopped crying
I looked down at my legs
I found my trousers
They are on me.
About senses
Here are my eyes
What do they do?
Blink and cry
And see sights of nature
Here are my ears
What do they do?
listen and hear
Distance noises and sound quite near.
Here are my hands
What do they do?
Touch and throw
And wave hello to you.
Here is my nose
What does it do?
Smell and breathe
And some times sneeze.
Here is my tounge
What does it do?
talk and taste
Delicious doughnuts.

Grand pa’s spec
One day grandpa was walking
In the garden
A mango fell off from a tree
And hit his head.
He got shocked and jumped up
When he looked up
He couldn’t see a thing
He wondered what had happened
Then he knew his specs were missing
He searched every where
But couldn’t find his specs
He put his hands on his head
And he found his specs
Now he could see everything
poor old grandpa
In the garden
A mango fell off from a tree
And hit his head.
He got shocked and jumped up
When he looked up
He couldn’t see a thing
He wondered what had happened
Then he knew his specs were missing
He searched every where
But couldn’t find his specs
He put his hands on his head
And he found his specs
Now he could see everything

My bed and me
I am so tired
And had a busy day
And you little bed
Are also cozy and soft
I’ll soon be fast a sleep
Beneath your sheet
And I’ll go to dreamland
Just as I fall a sleep
And had a busy day
And you little bed
Are also cozy and soft
I’ll soon be fast a sleep
Beneath your sheet
And I’ll go to dreamland
Just as I fall a sleep
Cricket
Balls going up and down
Thrown by balers
Balls being hit by bats
Into the crowd
Screaming and shouting
The crowd goes mad
A catch by fielders
Would make the crowd hoot
One wins the other loses
That’s called a game
A game called cricket
Would be just right for us
Thrown by balers
Balls being hit by bats
Into the crowd
Screaming and shouting
The crowd goes mad
A catch by fielders
Would make the crowd hoot
One wins the other loses
That’s called a game
A game called cricket
Would be just right for us
Birthday
Birthdays are very fun
Sure to get in time
To blow and hang the balloons
And have a lot of gifts
Sure to get in time
To blow and hang the balloons
And have a lot of gifts
In time to cut the cake
We sing the birthday song
And blow the candle
With lots of merry joy
We get to eat some cake
And other merry treats
And blow the candle
With lots of merry joy
We get to eat some cake
And other merry treats
Let us dance, let us play,
Let us do everything
On this dear day
Birthdays are wonderful
Birthdays are what I love
On this dear day
Birthdays are wonderful
Birthdays are what I love
It’s a dream
I am chilling and curious
I wonder what space looks like
I hear rockets are blasting off
I see the earth is turning around
I want to fly up to the space
I pretend I am an astronomer in the space
I feel I am near the black hole
I touch the surface of mars
I worry whether aliens are there
I cry when they will grab me at once
I know there is no gravity in the space
I can float in the space
I dream to be a scientist
I am trying to make my dreams come true
I wonder what space looks like
I hear rockets are blasting off
I see the earth is turning around
I want to fly up to the space
I pretend I am an astronomer in the space
I feel I am near the black hole
I touch the surface of mars

I miss my teacher
I’ve remembered
You and your whole class
Thank you for all you've done
For teaching all I need to know
I'll all remember you most fondly,
With all my heart
No matter where I am now.
I miss you and my father
Who make me happy always
I wish you have a happy life
Wherever you are!
(Gratitude to all the teachers who taught me at the Indian Public school-kuwait)
Splish splash splosh, swimming is good
I like to swim in the pool
Waves bob up and down
Just like clowns
I like to splash
But I’d rather not splash
In case I‘d drown
I’d rather not say
Swimming is not cool
Circling the arms
And kicking the legs
If you swim fast
You'll never get last
Waves bob up and down
Just like clowns
I like to splash
But I’d rather not splash
In case I‘d drown
I’d rather not say
Swimming is not cool
Circling the arms
And kicking the legs
If you swim fast
You'll never get last
Grandma
A baby cuddled
In your soft arms.
Learning yours
Gentle charms
Never to lie
We learn from you
You stand by my side
As I grow up
As we are growing up
she becomes happy.
As we are the world and
We are the children
Who should be cared and
Our grandma’s love
Will do them all.
But when time passes
And we grow older
Some grandmas are
Left by their children
And are all alone.
Being a good child
I’ll look after my grandma
As the way she cared for me.
In your soft arms.
Learning yours
Gentle charms
Never to lie
We learn from you
You stand by my side
As I grow up
As we are growing up

Colours of flowers
Roses are red
Buttercups are yellow
Violets are blue
As well as me
Which flowers are white?
Jasmine of course
Buttercups are yellow
Violets are blue
As well as me
Which flowers are white?
Jasmine of course
Rain
Rain falls everywhere
But not upon me
I have my umbrella
To keep me safe and dry
Rain trickles down the pipes
And falls to the ground
Rain slides over the roofs
And falls on the ground
Lightning and thunder
Jumps over clouds
Sometimes lightning
Cracks the ground
Pitter patter rain drops
Fall on the ground
Making mud puddles
Which look very round
Little children love to sail
Boats in the rain
Boats bob up and down
In the puddle
But not upon me
I have my umbrella
To keep me safe and dry
Rain trickles down the pipes
And falls to the ground
Rain slides over the roofs
And falls on the ground
Lightning and thunder
Jumps over clouds
Sometimes lightning

Elephants
They have ears which have a sun tan
And they look like a prince’s fan
They have a strong trunk
Which is long like a bunk
They have legs which are fat
And can play ball and bat
They have tusks like a spear
And they don’t sneer
They use their trunk to shower
And they have a lot of power
They can carry a lot of logs
But they can’t smell like dogs
And they look like a prince’s fan
They have a strong trunk
Which is long like a bunk
They have legs which are fat
And can play ball and bat
They have tusks like a spear
And they don’t sneer
They use their trunk to shower
